Mite Full Ice Supplement
The NYHL's Full Ice Mite Supplement Team participates in the Valley Hockey League's TSMHL. The team will play 10-15 full ice, 5V5 hockey games. The team is designed for those that will be aging out of U8 (Mite) hockey after the current season and is meant to help ease the transition from half ice U8 (Mite) hockey to full ice U10 (Squirt) hockey.
Ages
Appropriate players are 8 years old and are currently playing U8 (Mite) hockey in our full season program.
When
The program begins in December and runs through February.
Where
This is a games only program. Games are scheduled by the Valley Hockey League and hosted at many of the same rinks the full season NYHL teams currently play at.
Practices
This team does not have regular practices. It is a games only team.
Games
Teams will typically play 10-15 games each season.
Jerseys
Players will be expected to use the same NYHL jerseys that they currently use on their full season U8 (Mite) Team.
