Learn to Skate

The Newburyport Youth Hockey Learn to Skate Program has been meeting for over 35 years. Our program is designed for children ages 4 and up with little to no skating experience. The program meets locally at the Graf Rink in Newburyport, MA.

Ages

Our Learn to Skate Program is designed for skaters ages 4 and up.

If you have a child under 4 interested in participating please email Josh Freeman (joshf@nyhl.org).

When

Our program is held annually and normally runs from mid-October through the end of January.

Where

Our program is held at the Graf Rink in Newburyport, MA.

Day/Times

Our LTS class meets on Sundays from 10:00am - 10:50am.

Equipment

Required:

Protective Helmets (hockey or bicycle), Ice Skates

Recommended:

Elbow pads, Knee pads, Gloves or Mittens, Warm Clothes!

2024-2025 LEARN TO SKATE

Registration for our 2024-2025 Learn to Skate program is now open!

The cost is $200/skater.

Siblings receive a $50 discount. Please enter the discount code "NYHLsibling" when registering siblings.

The program begins Sunday, October 20th at 10:00am.
